Susan Eisen participates in ‘Mystery Box Challenge’

El Paso jewelry designer, appraiser and author Susan Eisen was one of two jewelry designers invited to participate in the “Mystery Box Challenge” by Manufacturing Jewelers and Suppliers of America. The jewelers each had four weeks to make a piece of jewelry with mystery materials selected by MJSA. This year’s challenge included apatite chips, glow-in-the-dark adhesive, sterling silver and carbon fiber. Eisen’s asymmetrical brooch was photographed and included in a two-page interview about her jewelry and techniques. Eisen is the president and chief designer at Susan Eisen Fine Jewelry & Watches at 5857 N. Mesa.
