Find Fresh Summer Produce on Campus

Locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables return to U-M this summer! Sign up for weekly produce boxes, visit an M Farmers Market or stop by the Planet Blue Farm Stand.

On select Wednesdays, stop by the expanded M Farmers Markets at NCRC! This new, multi-vendor market includes fresh produce and farm products, made-from-scratch pastas and breads, honey products, local favorites and much more.

Fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers and more return to East and West Ann Arbor Health Centers, July through September.

West Ann Arbor Health CenterThursdays, July 13 – Sept. 21, 2023 (no market Sept. 7)10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

East Ann Arbor Health CenterWednesdays, July 12 – Sept 20, 2023 (no market Sept. 6)10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Purchases can be made with cash or credit/debit cards. Patrons are encouraged to bring their own reusable bags.

MHealthy has partnered with Argus Farm Stop to offer a weekly produce box subscription that includes five convenient pick-up locations on and near the Ann Arbor campus. The cost is $30 per week.

Each week’s produce box will include a collection of six to nine seasonal produce items hand-selected by Argus Farm Stop staff.

Visit the Planet Blue Farm Stand on July 27 and August 3 from 12 – 3 p.m., on central campus at State St., outside of the U-M Museum of Art (UMMA).

The farm stand sells produce grown by U-M students and proceeds go towards funding student-led sustainable food initiatives at the U-M.

U-M is committed to being a health-promoting university. Programs like these provide access to nutritious, affordable and sustainable locally sourced foods and products.
